Up-and-coming producers Amelia Beer, Amelia Racz and Keshia Vitor of the newly formed Adelaide-based production company Untamed Circus are debuting their first show ‘Ritual’ at Adelaide Fringe 2024. Ritual will be a platform for both local seasoned performers and emerging artists to showcase their talents across the disciplines of aerial, acrobatics, magic, dance and fire spinning.
The trio of producers are accomplished aerialists and performers with an array of performance experience. Keshia Vitor says “we decided to put our talents and experience to use in producing our own show for the first time.”
The show focuses on the theme of rituals and superstitions, using a powerful, ominous and moody soundtrack to set the scene. “We wanted to create something that hasn’t been done before and something that audiences can relate to and be inspired by,” says Amelia Racz, who is the 2023 National La Folie Elite Tissu Champion.
“We wanted to create more opportunities for Adelaide artists to express themselves and hone their performance skills, which is why we created ‘Ritual’”, says Amelia Beer.
‘Ritual’ will debut at The Vault at Fool’s Paradise, Tarntanyangga/Victoria Square from 16-17 February 2024 at 6pm and 18 February 2024 at 5pm. Tickets can be purchased from the FringeTIX website www.adelaidefringe.com.au.
